Suzanne Coventry has over 18 years experience in landscape design and construction. As a Landscape Designer with ValleyCrest, Suzanne combines her fine art and landscape design backgrounds to create living pieces of artwork in her landscapes.

Suzanne works closely with her clients to ensure that her designs represent their inner vision and reflect the site's natural beauty and the home's architecture. She believes that landscape shouldn't just cater to your eyes, but should envelop all of your senses. Each of her designs takes into account the ability to embody the space and create usable, artistic spaces that have purpose.

Suzanne's passion for landscape, architecture and art goes back to her childhood when her father would take her to botanical gardens and museums in Chicago. Her designs are influenced by great artists such as Monet, Van Gogh and O'Keefe and architects such as Frank Lloyd Wright and Louis Sullivan. Her designs adapt to their surroundings and evolve into something deeper, with their beautiful form following function. She challenges space and often blends the indoors and outdoors, creating personal retreats that reflect her clients' lifestyles.

Before joining ValleyCrest, Suzanne owned her own design-build firm, Garden Graphics, Inc. Today, she specializes in high-end residential projects in Los Angeles and Ventura counties. Suzanne has been featured many times on HGTV Landscaper's Challenge and Los Angeles Magazine "Design LA" by Los Angeles Magazine Custom Publishing.

Suzanne is a member of the Association of Professional Landscape Designers (APLD). In 2009 she was recognized with an Environmental Improvement Distinction Award for a unique rooftop garden by the Professional Landscape Network (PLANET), an international association serving the horticulture industry. Suzanne is in the process of becoming a LEED Green Associate, a professional accreditation administered by the Green Building Certification Institute.
